Sailing with Purpose.
This is not just a regular adventure — it is a journey that goes beyond the horizon. A commitment to advocate for safer waters and a healthier marine ecosystem. Through this voyage, we aim to raise awareness on the importance of swimming safety — an often overlooked but critical life skill — while championing the protection of our oceans and the wildlife that depend on them.
Every mile sailed carries a message: that responsibility for our seas lies with all of us.
An essential life skill in a country of 7,600 islands.
Learning how to swim is an essential life skill, especially in a country surrounded by water like the Philippines. As an archipelago of more than 7,600 islands, many Filipinos live close to beaches, rivers, lakes, and other bodies of water.
Every year, drowning remains a serious public safety issue — at least 15 people died in drowning incidents during a single week of the 2025 summer season alone. Teaching people how to swim and understand water safety can save lives, build confidence around water, and help prevent tragedies that are often avoidable.

Documenting the seas, mile by mile.
Marine life plays a vital role in the Philippines, supporting food security, livelihoods, and the health of coastal ecosystems across the country's thousands of islands. These ecosystems face increasing threats from pollution, climate change, and unsustainable human activity.
Through this journey, Adrian will collaborate with Marine Wildlife Watch of the Philippines to contribute to a marine report — documenting observations at sea and raising awareness on the importance of protecting the country's rich marine biodiversity for future generations.

MWWP is a non-profit, non-stock conservation organization that aims to develop a better appreciation of the marine environment, its ecological processes, and how it affects all of us. Their work focuses on long-lived marine animals — dolphins, whales, dugong, sharks, rays, and marine turtles — the iconic species of the marine environment.
Incorporated in September 2010 and now in its second decade, the organization is still run on a volunteer basis by its founder and supporters. MWWP works through information dissemination, education, training, research, and policy work related to marine wildlife conservation.
