One person.
One boat.
7,641 islands.
A solo voyage down the length of the Philippine archipelago — sailed, not motored — on a 16-foot Hobie catamaran.
From the wild north to the southern frontier.
What began as a simple idea has become one of the most ambitious sailing projects ever attempted in the Philippines: a solo Hobie 16 catamaran voyage running the full length of the archipelago.
From Pagudpud on Luzon's northern tip down to General Santos in southern Mindanao — 3,700 km / 2,300 mi along the wild west coast of Luzon, through the lagoons of Palawan, across the vibrant Visayas, and out to the remote eastern edge of Mindanao — all over the next two to three months.
Each leg sailed, not motored — in harmony with the wind.
"Childhood dream level great news."
When Adrian announced the voyage, he framed it simply — a lifelong dream finally setting sail. Around the same time, Guinness World Records accepted his application to officially recognize the attempt.
Thirty-eight landfalls.
One line on the sea.
The route hugs the western coast of Luzon, threads through Palawan, traverses the Visayan seas, and finishes on the shores of southern Mindanao. Hover any pin to inspect the stop and verified offshore waypoint.

Meet Adrian Belic.
Academy Award–nominated documentary filmmaker. Global traveler — 140+ countries across 6 continents. Lifelong sailor, learning on a Hobie 16 as a child.
During the pandemic lockdown on Boracay, Adrian began paddling. First around White Beach. Then around the entire island. Then across to Panay, Carabao, and Tablas — solo SUP crossings of 40km, eight hours at a time.
When restrictions lifted, he bought a used Honda Click 125 and rode 30,000km solo around the Philippines on two wheels.
Now he is doing perhaps the most fitting expedition of all — sailing the length of the archipelago, alone, on a 16-foot catamaran.
